Marlene London has been active in The Language Club of Westchester since joining the organization in 1993. Now the Clubs director, she devotes a vast amount of time and attention to writing the newsletter, maintaining the mailing list and the scrapbook, making name badges, ensuring that flags, foreign language dictionaries, and table tents are on each of the language tables each week, organizing special events, and managing the Clubs Lending Library. She does not, however, work alone. One member is in charge of the Treasury, and another handles Public Relations. Bob Gustafson prepared this website, and other members help when necessary. When not working on Club activities, Mrs. London runs her own freelance indexing business and travels with her husband, Albert, as much as possible.
